Cookie Policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026

This page explains what cookies are, which kinds this site uses, and how to block or delete them in your browser. How cookie data is handled as personal information is covered in our privacy policy.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. On your next visit, the browser sends it back, which lets the site recognise the same device. Cookies cannot run programs, read your files or carry viruses — they are plain data, but data that can identify a returning browser, which is why you get a say in them.

"First-party" cookies are set by the site you are on; "third-party" cookies are set by another domain whose content or scripts the page loads.

The cookies this site uses

Strictly necessary

These make the site work — for example, remembering a preference for the length of your visit. They contain no tracking identifiers, and the site cannot function properly without them, which is why no consent mechanism can turn them off.

Analytics

Analytics cookies let us count visitors and see which pages are read, so we know which reviews to update first. They record pages viewed, visit duration, approximate location (city level, from an anonymised IP) and device type. They do not record your name, email or anything you type. Blocking them does not change what you can see or do on this site.

Third-party

When you click through to a gambling operator from this site, the operator's own website sets its own cookies under its own policy — that happens on their domain, not ours, and their cookie policy governs it. We keep third-party scripts on our own pages to a minimum; any that appear are limited to the analytics described above.

How to block or delete cookies

Every major browser lets you delete existing cookies and block new ones, for all sites or per site:

Blocking all cookies can break logins and shopping carts on other websites. Blocking third-party and analytics cookies, on the other hand, rarely breaks anything — this site works fully without them.

Changes and questions

If the cookies this site sets change, this page will be updated with a new date at the top. Questions go to contact@aurumcoffee.co.nz; how we handle that email is described in the privacy policy.
